Description
-
Wendell Holloway asks Jack Brooks to support Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy's anti-crime bills, which had been discussed by Kennedy specifically in relation to Beaumont. Brooks was quoted as defending "the good name" of Beaumont. The constituent compares defending Beaumont to defending Nazi officer Adolph Eichmann, who, at the time of the letter, was being tried for war crimes in a widely publicized trial in Jerusalem.
