Written on verso: Marine Sonoproble, which was developed at Magnolia Petroleum Company's Field Research Laboratories, and which uses the principles of underwater acoustics, is a device which can map shallow sedimentary formations with remarkable accuracy. The Marine Sonoprobe can penetrate as much as 100 to 200 feet beneath the sea bottom. Magnolia Petroleum Company is the southwest affiliate of Socony Mobil Oil Company, Inc.
