NP 1244 - Waiting for their turn at this typical Texas-style barbecue held in connection with formal dedicatory ceremonies for Shell Oil Company's new Sheridan, Tex., cycling plant, are a crowd of hungry guests from nearby Colorado and Lavaca counties, plant employees, their wives and families, and over 275 people from the company's Houston office, as well as state officials and members of the press. In the background can be seen a tent where speaking ceremonies were held and behind that, if you look hard enough, portions of the new cycling plant.
