Oral history of Adela Mancias conducted by Ethan Walje on February 27, 2021. Adela Mancias recounts her experiences growing up in Texas as a Mexican-American and how it led to her interest in activism. She discusses her work with the Raza Unida Party and Brown Berets in Austin, Texas, including her participation in protests against the Austin Boat Club races and the Ku Klux Klan march in Austin on February 19, 1983. She also discusses her work in organizing resistance to unfair zoning laws in East Austin and talks about her later documentary and radio work.

Oral history of Irma Orozco conducted by Matthew Wright on February 27, 2021. In the interview, Orozco talked about her time as a student attending the University of Texas at Austin from 1974 to 1977. She explained her experience in writing for the MAYO newspaper, El Desperator, and her time working as an editor in La Raza Unida newspaper, Para La Gente. Orozco also worked with various newscast television stations, working as a producer and newscaster for the KTBC and KVUE. Moreover, she produced her television program that focuses on Chicanos art and interviewed famous local Chicanos in Austin. Also, founded a student organization on campus called Chicanos Intersados Comunicaciones, which focuses on promoting Chicano's participation in media.
