Mance Jr. talks about a wide range of topics such as growing up with his father (Mance Lipscomb), his playing style, his uncle Ralph (Mance Lipscomb Sr.'s Brother). He tells a story about his father showing up unannounced at a country dance and the hired musician was asked to leave so that Mance Lipscomb Sr. would play. Mance Jr. also discusses the similarities between his son Frank's style of playing and his father, Mance Lipscomb Sr.

Mance Jr. strums on the guitar and tries to play several songs while the two men speak about his father Mance Sr. and his son Frank and their careers. Mance Jr. tells the story of his father playing a few songs for Frank Sinatra and getting paid so much he bought a brand new car, but he remarks on the toll that travels, and increased notoriety took on him in his later years.
