Johnson and Second Lady Lady Bird Johnson, calling Johnson a "long-time friend" to Southeast Texas. He highlights Johnson's accomplishments. Johnson became President fifty-five days later when John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas on November 22, 1963.
