Carr recalls his father's tenure as attorney general and his experiences investigating the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Carr also describes his father's relationship with men like Gov. John Connally and his responses to protests by PASSO, a Mexican American group protesting low agricultural wages and poor working conditions in the Rio Grande Valley. The last part of the interview covers Carr's personal pain while successfully fending off corruption charges related to the Sharpstown Stock Fraud Scandal.
