This item is a copy of a letter from Fred Carelton and J.W. Robertson, and F.W. Chandler (who formerly had a law firm together) to H.H. Boone, the Attorney General of Texas, regarding several suits brought against the State of Texas under the act of the Legislature of the State of Texas of August 15, 1870 to obtain confirmation of titles to land situated between the Nueces and Rio Grande rivers that had been granted by the governments of Spain or Mexico, or the state of Tamaulipas.
