Description
-
This tape is a recording of a very lively panel appearance of Molly Ivins and television journalist David Brinkley that was introduced by Lousiana Congresswoman and Ambassador to the Holy See, Lindy Boggs. Molly speaks first and discusses the state of traditional political journalism in comparison to television journalism. David Brinkley spends his time discussing television journalism and issues with politics in Washington D.C. Of particular interest are Molly's thoughts on papers such as USA Today and the Wall Street Journal, a brief mention of Donald and Ivanna Trump, and David and Molly's back and forth exchange.
