T.D. Bell interviewed by Tary Owens in September of 1986. Roosevelt T. Williams also appears throughout the recording. T.D. introduces himself and begins talking about how he got started playing the guitar. Bell begins discussing how he got started playing at the Victory Grill in Austin, Texas and his subsequent 25-year career as a musician. He talks about many of the other players that played in his band over the years and musicians that he played as a backing musician. He recounts his connection to an infamous story about Johnny Ace and Willie Mae Thornton before talking about Pee Wee Creighton, Crazy Legs Moore, Blues Wallace, Gatemouth Brown and Albert Collins. At one point Bell mentions that he has some old reel to reel recordings of Freddie King and other memorabilia in storage. T.D. and Grey Ghost discuss several old musicians they know around town.
