Airplane. On verso: On May 8-9, 1926, Lt. Commander Richard E. Byrd, acting as navigator, and Floyd Bennett, pilot, flew over the North Pole and back in a trimotor Fokker. The flight from King’s Bay, Spitsbergen and back took 15 1/2 hours.
