Dot Knestaut, Kate Bateman, Grace Delamater, Myrtle Poole, Rebecca Buchanan, and Marie Heppard are running a Case Manufacturing Department. There’s an inscription that reads, "The above is the Case Manufacturing Department run almost entirely by women. The girls by the hand truck are brining shooks over to the case line for the use of the nailing machine operators. The girl at the left is Dot Knestaut being assisted by Mrs. Kate Bateman (husband now in Africa formerly of the Laboratory at the refinery). At the right Grace Delamater is preparing case ends for Mrs. Myrtle Poole (at first machine). The cases then go by conveyor to Mrs. Rebecca Buchanan who adds the other side and then on to Mrs. Marie Heppard for the bottom and then to the belt which will convey them to the Case and Can Filling Dept." There’s a number written in pencil, "87," and the word "Paulsboro." There’s also a note that reads,"(Note to Em Applegit-Heppard’s husband is in the Navy and Buchanan’s in the Army-don’t know if you want that for the story or not.)" Theres also a note that has a shop no. 69812 and Scale of 33 1/4.
