On the back of the photo, there’s an inscription that says, "The young lady running the gauge testing apparatus is Miss Lillian Polson. After training period Miss Polson is taking over a testing job formerly done by the apprentice boys of the Instrument Shop." In pencil there’s a number, "95," and the words, "Paulsboro Refinery." There’s a sticker that says, "1942-1945 - Fairfax, NJ Geographical Subject." Also, there’s a stamp that says, "Return to: Socony-Vacuum Oil Co., Inc., Advertising Department, 26 Broadway, New York, N.Y."
