Oil Consumption Tests
A black and white photo of a man working a machine in a laboratory. On the back of the photo, there’s an inscription that reads, "Ingenious use of three oil reservoirs enables laboratory technicians to run oil consumption tests on unlimited number of different lubricants without stopping the engine. System permits a more accurate evaluation of each oil than if engine were stopped between tests." In blue pencil, it reads, "used in S/V News October 1949, p. 7." In pencil, it reads, "HIST FILE: Labs - Paulsboro."
