Letter from John Joseph Linn

During the Revolution, John Joseph Linn served with General Sam Houston, who sent Linn to Galveston for supplies. With supplies in tow, Linn returned to the mainland and found Houston at San Jacinto after the capture of Santa Anna. Linn sent this letter to a merchant in New Orleans and reports of his conversation with General Santa Anna after the Texan defeat of Santa Anna's army.
