Former Special Assistant to President Johnson, E. Ernest Goldstein, writes to Attorney General William Saxbe, criticizing him for his claims that "President Johnson maintained tape recording equipment in the Oval Office which was superior to that maintained by Mr. Nixon." Goldstein attached a copy of this letter in another letter to Jack Brooks on February 26, 1974 [camh-dob-001221].
