This image was one of many created by Shel Hershorn for a photographic essay and exhibition based on the book, "A Personal Country", by A.C. Greene, about West Texas. Over 400 images were presented at the Amon Carter Museum in Fort Worth, Texas as part of the exhibition in 1969.
